 | October 14th saw Wiltshire College Trowbridge get infected with Pink Fever, whether it was the manly pink fairies (matt Joslin), Girls in Pink Tutus (Travel and Tourism) or beautiful pink nails (Beauty Pauline Bailey) an epidemic of generosity spread across the campus. Students and Staff raised a massive £1052 for Breast Cancer Campaign far exceeding last year’s donations. Breast Cancer Campaign uses all WEAR IT PINK donations to fund innovative, world-class research throughout the UK and Ireland to understand how breast cancer develops, leading to improved diagnosis, treatment, prevention and cure. Travel And Tourism students were motivated to take part in fundraising as their tutor, Lynne Yeates, had made them aware, from her own experiences of breast cancer, the impact that it has on people’s lives. |
